Fashion is not only dresses but far beyond it. It's true that time has involved inside the fashion. Native society has a different platform about what to wear in daily life. Perhaps depends on their social strata on that time. Modern society also has it. Not to mention the hippies.
Every generation has a thought about what to wear to look good. Certain pattern and design reflects the symbol about activity or even self-satisfaction which is adapted by fashion and keep grown. Fashion plays behaviours, values, patterns, even beliefs through generations meanwhile culture determines the way someone perceives around them.
Indonesia has many cultural heritage to explore as a fine sets of fashion. Not just the clothing patterns but the traditions, building structure, food, culinary and many others. It is not merely how to looking good but to have a good behaviour also.
