Actually, Songkolo is served as snacks. This is an all-day food in Makassar. On day time, usually serve in rounded without egg and fish, in midnight time, it is fully served with egg and fish.

What is Songkolo anyway? It is often called Sokko, is serving black or white sticky rice sown with serundeng (grated coconut). Commonly in salted anchovies, eggs, and yellow sauce. This food of course very familiar to people who has activities until midnight. Hence it is open until late night even the early hours, the most of its customers are motorcycle driver, taxi drivers, or students.

When you visiting Makassar, there's so much culinary option that you should taste. From early morning to late night! Culinary in Makassar is like no end. A variety of breakfast menus, lunch until evening, can be found easily in every corners of the city.
